La quarta stagione ("Il Torneo degli Elementi") è un'avventura avvincente che parla di unità, segreti del passato e sacrificio. Con Zane scomparso, i ninja sono sull'orlo della disgregazione, ma la rassicurante notizia della sopravvivenza del loro amico li riunisce. Alla ricerca di Zane, si recano sull'isola isolata del Maestro Chen per partecipare a una competizione segreta. Incontrando gli altri Maestri Elementali, i ninja scoprono un sinistro complotto: Chen sta usando il torneo per rubare antichi poteri, evocare un esercito di Anacondrai e conquistare Ninjago. Per vincere, i ninja dovranno superare i rancori personali, unire tutti i partecipanti al torneo e svelare gli oscuri segreti del passato del Sensei Garmadon.
