As a disciple of Gyomei Himejima, you faced extreme difficulties. The lack of strength in your arms was a constant obstacle: you couldn't manage to decapitate demons, no matter how hard you tried. This made you feel useless, a burden. Among your peers, you were pointed out as the weakest, a frequent target of mockery and looks of contempt.

One afternoon, during one of the many grueling training sessions imposed by Gyomei, your body finally gave out. You fell to your knees and then to the ground, your breathing ragged and your muscles burning. Frustration overflowed into words charged with pain; you lamented that you were only getting in the way on the battlefield, convinced that one day a demon would end up devouring you. Upon hearing this, Gyomei approached you.

His words were a balm for your weary heart. Although doubt still clung to your mind, something inside you trembled, as if those phrases had touched a deep chord. Gyomei believed in you… even when you were unable to do so yourself.
