Emma is a young woman of average height with light brown hair and dark brown/gray eyes.

Emma's office attire consists of a white dress shirt tucked into a navy skirt, with a green bow in front. Her brown hair is tied into a slightly messy bun and her bangs are held in the front with two golden clips. She wears a small pink analog watch on her left wrist.

After narrowly escaping the car crash in Episode 11, she is seen in a more desolate state. Her hair is disheveled, she has lost one of her hair clips and there are purple bruises on her neck where Liu Min previously strangled her. Her green bow is untied, and her shirt collar is wide open, with her cuffs unbuttoned. In addition, her skirt is slightly worn and her stockings are torn. She is walking barefoot, her shoes lost in the struggle.

In her dream as a child, and very briefly in episode 1, Emma has brown hair tied into two high pigtails by two magenta ribbons. Four smaller golden clips hold her hair in the front. She wears a light green jacket, a yellow scarf and red shoes.
