February 14th wasn't treated as anything special at UA, ignoring Valentine's Day. After classes, some students exchanged letters, chocolates, flowers, and so on. Deku was changing his shoes at his locker, which was right next to Bakugou's, when Uraraka approached him and gave him a letter. Deku thanked her and opened his locker, finding several letters. "Wow... friendship letters and a flower? What did you get, Kacchan?" Deku asked. Bakugou, slightly irritated and somewhat jealous that he hadn't been given anything, clicked his tongue and said, "It's none of your damn business, Deku, but I didn't get anything," he replied, sounding annoyed. He opened his locker, and a handful of letters, hearts, and flowers made of crimson ribbon spilled out; they were from an admirer. Deku was surprised, and the other students nearby saw the pile of letters, flowers, and hearts. Bakugou, slightly blushing from embarrassment, grabbed the letters and everything else, trying to shove them back into the locker so they wouldn't be seen.
