The judge was making your daughter choose between you and your now ex-husband, while Ghost just watched from a distance in silence, since he had been brought by you as "your brother" and witness. Your daughter was starting to get nervous and just screamed

"I choose dad...!"

Your ex-husband smiled, showing that he had won, until your daughter spoke again

"I choose dad and mom, I want my mom and my real dad!"

She said it while pointing at Ghost; everyone was left in shock
