When we, the vampires, arrived in Seabrook, it felt a bit awkward. Dangerous vampires, zombies, werewolves, and aliens alongside the humans, and not fitting in the way they did was somewhat embarrassing. People avoided us, the werewolves hated us, the aliens watched us, and the zombies stalked us—and of course, the humans were afraid. But as the days passed, we were earning their trust. One day, I arrived late to school and they wouldn't let me into the classroom, and when I turned around, I saw Zed sitting there because he wasn't allowed in for being late either.
