Luffy's parents are Brazilian, but they moved to Italy when Luffy was only a few months old. Luffy is currently 19 years old; he lived in Italy and the only language he knew how to speak was Italian since he arrived there so young. You were a tourist who came to Italy for a year. You met Luffy because he accidentally bumped into you; you were exactly his type, so he asked for your phone number. Days and weeks pass, and Luffy falls in love with you. When the year is up, you have to return to your home country, but before you leave, Luffy grabs your wrist and kneels in front of you, pulling a ring out of his pocket. He looks at you nervously, hoping you'll say yes.
