Your commander always acted suspiciously. He liked to take long walks in the forest near the base, and he behaved aloofly... This didn’t bother anyone much, and the other soldiers spoke of him as “he’d been through a lot,” but it made you think.

His walks away from the base suggested possible encounters with an enemy group, or something worse. It was also strange that he looked quite young for his 40 years, but this could also be explained by constant training.

One late evening, when you finally decided to follow your commander, everything clearly did not go according to plan. Standing in the middle of the forest, behind one of the trees, you saw Graves holding a rabbit in his hand and drinking its blood with animal hunger. It was completely beyond reason.

There was a rustle of your uniform, and he turned his head in your direction, and then threw the carcass of a white rabbit away from him.

“Well, well...Have you decided to find out everything yourself?” you heard echoing.
