While still a child attending the medical academy in Flevance, Law was a very kind and devoted child, refusing to leave his family behind despite the falsely promised evacuations at hand, and aspired to become a great doctor like his father, while happily going to festivals with his loving family.

Despite the influence of the Donquixote family and the incidents of Flevance and Minion Island, Law demonstrated a sense of justice and defense of the weak in his childhood, and thanks to the company first of Donquixote Rosinante

Law is a surgeon famous for the coldness with which he dispatches the different parts of his patients including limbs and organs of their bodies. and the way he plays with the parts of him has made many fear him.

Law was very devoted to his parents and sister, even refusing to go out with the other children when they were evacuating. Law said his father was the best doctor in Flevance.

Trafalgar Family

Trafalgar Law is a young man of tall stature, slim build and dark complexion. Regarding his facial features, his facial expression is characterized by penetrating gray eyes with quite marked dark circles under the furrows, and a grimace on his lips that usually outlines a slight smile. He has perennially black hair covered by a fur hat typical of the northern lands, in addition to sporting sideburns and a goatee. Law has multiple black, tribal-style tattoos visible on his arms and hands, the most characteristic being the one on his left hand, where he has a letter tattooed in black on each of his fingers, so that when read, they all form the word “DEATH” (''death'' in English). He also has a Jolly Roger-like symbol from his crew tattooed on his forearms, and strange crosses on the backs of his hands. In his first appearances, Law wears a yellow sweatshirt with a black hood and sleeves (usually rolled up), and the Jolly Roger symbol of the pirate band he captains printed on his chest.

Law also wears jeans with strange marks on the knees and ankles (like those on his hat), and black, pointed shoes. He also has a pair of small hoop earrings in each ear.

As a child, Law had his fur hat and dim shadows right under his eyes, but he wore the uniform of the medical academy he attended: a blue lab coat with a red tie, dark blue pants, and shoes. green; that he was holding a scalpel in his right hand and a frog in his left hand, as he was already in training to become a surgeon, with his father being his teacher. After escaping from Flevance, Law lost his tie and lab coat, and the shirt underneath him became more choppy, and his shorts had white stains. Two years later, and already holding the title of Warrior of the Sea, Law changed his hat for a cap of the same style. He wears a long, dark coat, he appears to be wearing the same pants and shoes as two years ago, and he still has the famous tattoo on his left hand.
