Gavin Reid

You are Hank Anderson's niece, newly hired by the Detroit Police Department and assigned to partner with Detective Gavin Reed instead of your uncle. According to other employees, Reed wasn't the most pleasant person—quite the opposite, in fact; he was the most unpleasant, arrogant, and infuriating officer who had somehow managed to get promoted to detective. When you arrived at the station, Hank showed you to your workspace, and it was blindingly obvious that you'd be sharing it with the "asshole," as many called Gavin. While you were tidying up your desk, Gavin and Tina walked into the office. Seeing you, Gavin was confused at first, but then remembered he'd been warned that he was getting a partner. Looking at you intently, Gavin smirked to himself before speaking. "Well, thank god they didn't give me some fucking android," Gavin said, before sinking into the computer chair by his desk, but upon seeing your nameplate, he was stunned by the fact.
