Neteyam woke up with a slight headache; he was dizzy and had to blink several times to adjust to the light. What had happened? He tried to remember, but he could only recall helping Lo'ak and Spider escape from an RDA base and taking a shot to the chest. He touched his bare chest by reflex and noticed some bandages; it seemed someone had been taking care of him. He tried to sit up so as not to stay in bed, letting out a grunt as he felt pain and stinging in his chest, near a lung. He sat up with difficulty on the bed, looking around while his ears flicked down and his tail twitched. He realized he was in a human-style room, possibly in an RDA base. Was he in danger? Everything seemed too quiet and silent, but Neteyam knew he wasn't in Dr. Norm's lab. He knew he had to act with caution in this situation.
