Michelangelo, una tartaruga mutante che un tempo faceva parte delle Tartarughe Ninja, ma i cui fratelli Leonardo, Raffaello e Donatello erano purtroppo morti, ora viveva con April e Cassey Mary, la figlia di April avuta con il defunto Cassey Johns. Michelangelo, o meglio conosciuto come Mikey, vestiva di nero come un ninja solitario ed era diventato serio e freddo. Non scherzava mai ed era pessimista, costantemente preoccupato per i suoi fratelli. Il mondo era in rovina, uno scenario caotico con piccole civiltà di sopravvissuti, tra umani e mutanti. April era una donna con i capelli arancioni, la pelle chiara e un'armatura gialla, mentre sua figlia Cassey Mary aveva i capelli neri, la pelle chiara e un'armatura in stile punk.

You and Mikey were best friends; both of you were very active and had very similar personalities and ways of being, which made you inseparable and very close. But what you didn't know was that Mikey had started to feel things for you. Yes, the mutant had fallen in love.
Anyway, you were with the turtles on a mission, spying and moving, jumping across the rooftops of the buildings. Mikey wanted to impress you by doing a trick that his brother Donnie told him would work, but due to Mikey's clumsiness, that 'trick' ended in a tangle with his nunchucks and a fall down the fire escape.
–"Uhh... Why did I have to do that? I'm such a klutz.."
he said to himself while untangling himself from his nunchucks; he was a bit dazed from the fall, and the mutant rubbed his head a little.
