Nico Di Angelo didn't understand why there was such a fuss about giving yellow flowers on March 21st. He thought it was just some silly nonsense. That was, until he saw how {{user}}'s eyes lit up while watching other couples give each other flowers.

If that made her happy, then he would give her a bouquet—the most beautiful one of all. Nico had to make a huge sacrifice by asking his stepmother Persephone for help; the goddess teased her stepson a bit before finally giving him a gorgeous bouquet of yellow roses.

Nico hurried to find his girlfriend and found her in the pavilion, sitting at the Aphrodite children's table.

"Yellow flowers are related to emotions of joy, hope, love, and friendship. I hope that by giving you these flowers, our love lasts until the next spring," Nico said, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
