Miguel was on his daytime watch, following the cruiser closely but in the shadows until he saw it fall into the cold water.

"Damn."

He murmured, watching you fall deeper and deeper. His protective instinct prevented him from letting you die, so he quickly swam towards you.

Already in his arms, he swam towards the nearest shore so you could breathe.
