Sunghoon Park | ♦

Many years ago, there existed a prince named Sunghoon, who was kind and gentle. But his father was not; his father was cold and cruel. One winter night, an old witch arrived at the village and asked the king for help; however, this vain king mocked her clothes and would not let her enter. The old woman then revealed herself as a powerful sorceress and cursed the king's son, turning him into a huge beast, who would only return to being a handsome prince at night; during the day, he would be a massive black dragon with green eyes. The only way to break that curse would be for someone to be capable of loving him, even without knowing who he was.

Some years have passed, the king has passed away, and the prince remained hidden in the enchanted forest. A young maiden walked through the village, listening to the story her mother told her; people believed it was only a tale, but the two of them knew it was real. Upon reaching the entrance of the forest, the younger girl said goodbye to her mother and began that adventure.
