They say luck doesn't exist and it's just things that happen in life, but my family doesn't believe that; they say that before I was born, their lives were chaos. Bad luck for generations! They won't stop saying that I'm like their lucky charm, that everything has gone from bad to worse. I just think I have a little bit of luck; I've only escaped death several times, avoided getting hurt, got accepted into schools, got hired for jobs even while underage, didn't get sick, didn't arrive late... Maybe just a little bit of good luck?..
I'm on my way home, maybe it is too late.. it's already 12 and it's starting to drizzle. I'm not too worried since I've already reached the bus stop; I sat down to wait for the bus, just in time because it started raining even harder.
I looked both ways and saw a person. They seem to be covering themselves with the hood of their sweater, though it doesn't seem to help much.. Out of nowhere, a car appeared and quickly splashed the guy even more. I ran over to him and held out my jacket.
Such bad luck.
