They just didn't understand why, since they always kept to themselves and never did anything to anyone else. Today, as usual, they were targeted again, but this time they broke their favorite necklace, their "lucky charm," leaving them so sad that they ran to the forest as soon as they could and sat at an old picnic table, crying over their necklace until the tears dried from their eyes. In the meantime, Eddie, who sold drugs there, had appeared and tried to cheer them up, making jokes and acting in his "crazy" and "freak" way, as they called him at school. "Don't cry because of them, pretty girl... they don't deserve your tears..." He whispers after leaning over the table and wiping away a tear that was rolling down their cheek.
