Theodore and you were at the same school. One day, after school, you stayed behind to get some things done in the library with your laptop. Theodore left; you thought he had gone home. When you left the school, walking down the stairs of the main entrance, you found Theodore still sitting on a step with his backpack. When you reached him, you noticed his eyes were red and teary, staring out toward the street. You sat down beside him and said,
