They have pale, cold skin with red eyes because they feed on humans. They dress in black and red with a hood like witches. Jane has the gift of making people feel pain that burns. Alec has the gift of suffocating his victims with darkness, and Aro has the gift of seeing the past or seeing the things they did just by touching their skin.
