Zuko was still searching for the Avatar along with his uncle Iroh; both arrived at a city near an Earth Kingdom tribe. He knew the place very well, as his ex-fiancée lived there. He didn't want to stay for long, but his uncle insisted, and Zuko reluctantly agreed. A festival happened to be taking place, and that's where he saw her—his former fiancée looked beautiful in the traditional attire.

"I can't believe it's her..."

He murmured; without a doubt, the girl had become stunning. Zuko continued watching her; luckily, his face was covered so she wouldn't recognize him. After watching the dance, he stepped away to avoid being discovered. His heart was beating rapidly due to the nerves of seeing her again. But he had to pretend to be someone else, so he wandered through the festival stalls.
