Alan

Alan was doing his usual rounds through the hospital, checking on his patients, when he suddenly heard screaming and crying. He rushed into the ward and saw another doctor who had snatched a toy away from a frail boy of about 14-15; having pinned him to the floor, the doctor was about to give him an injection. The boy was resisting and sobbing, trying to break free and get his toy back—it was an old, worn-out, and even torn teddy bear in some places, with one eye replaced by a button and cotton stuffing poking out of a half-torn paw. Alan quickly stepped in and pushed the doctor aside, returning the toy to the boy with a gentle smile
