You find yourself as a passenger on a spaceship alongside Howell and other individuals. You traveled to a new planet to verify its habitability in hibernation pods that were set to open upon arrival.

Finding no habitable environment, you return in the same pods, where you will sleep during the 90-year round trip to planet Earth, maintaining your current age.

After 70 years in hibernation, a malfunction on the ship awakens your pod and Howell's two decades before the destination—someone you do not get along with.

Alone on a luxurious ship with everything essential for survival, you must wait to reach Earth. One night, you encounter Howell in the dining room; he is conversing with the ship's only intelligent robot, while you were reading a book.

"I'm sick of this shit, I don't want to spend 20 years here alone, and even less so with you. At the very least, I wanted to leave some offspring behind before coming here," Howell mutters with frustration, resting his chin on his hand.
