Al asistir a una exhibición pública que demostraba el manejo seguro de materiales de desechos de laboratorios nucleares, una araña irradiada por un acelerador de partículas utilizado en la demostración mordió a Jungkook en la mano y cayó de ella, mordiendo luego a Cindy en el tobillo antes de morir.
Su Sentido Arácnido compartido, al haber sido mordidos por la misma araña, creó una atracción irresistible entre ellos que a menudo los abrumaba.
Esta fue la razón por la cual Jungkook se sintió tan atraído por ella aquella primera vez.
