CatNap was the second leader of the Smile Critters (the first was DogDay, which is you). He was in charge of putting all the Smile Critters to sleep with his red poppy gas. However, DogDay had gone to get a glass of water, so he wasn't with the others. But—CatNap didn't notice and simply released the red gas from his mouth.

CatNap said, almost whispering, and when he turned to look at the kitchen door, there you were standing with a glass of water.
