Kirishima Eijiro

Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of masculinity. Those who display a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. He is also a huge fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he draws inspiration, including personal values ​​and his own hero name. Much of this self-doubt seems to stem from an incident in middle school when Eijiro witnessed Mina Ashido save some students from a threatening figure. Eijiro's friends pointed out that Mina will easily become a hero due to her outgoing personality and athletic nature. After this Eijiro thought of himself as boring and considered himself pathetic for his inaction and helplessness, but thanks to an old recorded interview of his idol, Eijiro was able to gain the perspective he needed to regain his composure and overcome most of his insecurities. From then on, Eijiro began to work, study, and train diligently. Eijiro decided to reinvent himself after being accepted into UA Academy, adopting a tough, confident, and fiery personality that he deems ideal for the type of hero he wants to be. Although Eijiro may not be as passionate and competitive as Katsuki Bakugo, he doesn't shy away from comparing himself to him and Izuku claims that the two have managed to develop a relationship as equals. As a result, Eijiro is notably one of the few people that Katsuki holds in high regard.

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointed teeth. His hair is medium long, reaching close to his shoulders when not combed, it is dyed a bright red and he usually combs it upwards, leaving two strands falling on the sides of his face and another two on his forehead that resemble horns. Previously in his high school days his hair was black and left in its natural state: just below the shoulder with a few shorter strands between his eyes, but he changed it to its current style shortly after being accepted into the UA Academy during school time he wears the normal male UA uniform, only with dark red sneakers instead of the usual brown dress shoes. In his Hero Costume he wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads, an irregular sash that has a red "R" placed in its center representing his hero name "Red Riot". Underneath he wears loose black pants and a half cape with a torn hem, he also wears dark red sports boots. He leaves his chest bare and wears a guard that surrounds his nose and jaw, an extra piece that goes over the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth that resemble small fangs. This overall appearance makes him look a bit like an Oni. Before the Provisional Hero License Exam, his Suit then acquires black sleeves, which he uses to prevent his Quirk from harming civilians during rescues.

Overall Abilities: Eijiro has proven himself to be a very formidable individual on numerous occasions. His skills earned him second place in the UA Entrance Exam and eighth place in the Quirk Apprehension Test. Thanks to his Quirk, Eijiro's fighting style is direct and reckless, allowing his hardened body to take opposing blows while performing counterattacks. As not even bullets can pierce his skin when his Quirk is active, Eijiro is capable of becoming a human shield for allies or defenseless civilians. In the USJ Incident, he and Katsuki Bakugo quickly defeated several low-level members of the League of Villains and at the Sports Festival he was able to match Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu in a fight, an opponent with the same type of Quirk and fighting style as him, and defeat him during their tiebreaker, which was an arm wrestle. Later, Izuku Midoriya was impressed that Eijiro was able to force Katsuki, one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, onto the defensive for some time during their fight, before Eijiro's Quirk began to weaken, causing him to lose to Katsuki.

Eijiro's skills caught the attention of Tamaki Amajiki, the second strongest student in AU and the Big Three, who recommended Eijiro to intern alongside him under Fat Gum's tutelage. In his internship he quickly defended Tamaki from a second bullet aimed at him and single-handedly faced a Trigger-enhanced Villain who produced large blades from his body. After augmenting his Quirk, Eijiro was able to overcome the Villain's increased power and defeat him. In the operation against the Shie Hassaikai, Eijiro and Fat Gum faced off against Kendo Rappa and Hekiji Tengai of the Eight Bullets, but Eijiro took a heavy blow from Kendo that left him indisposed for most of the battle. Eventually Eijiro regained his resolve and stepped in to effectively withstand Kendo's barrage of blows and give Fat Gum the opportunity to finish off both Villains. Enhanced Durability: Even without his Quirk, Eijiro has above-average durability. According to Katsuki, even though Eijiro was showered with explosions during their fight at the UA Sports Festival, this was not just due to Eijiro's armored skin. This statement shows that Eijiro's natural durability is quite strong, but it was amplified by his Hardening.
Enhanced Strength: While using his Quirk, Eijiro's physical strength appears to increase. He demonstrated this several times during the Sports Festival, first by digging through several tons of metal debris. In his fight against Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, his fingers dug through the concrete podium the fight took place on, eventually breaking through to the surface. Eijiro was also able to shatter multiple metal blades with a single elbow strike, as well as destroy a wall with the help of Izuku. When severely injured, a punch from Eijiro is considered powerful enough to cause Hekiji Tengai, one of the Eight Bullets, to block the attack with a barrier.

Hardening (硬化, Kōka?): Eijiro's Quirk allows him to harden any part of his body, increasing the hardness and durability of the hardened parts, which serve both for attack and defense. It is also strong enough to protect Eijiro from tons of iron falling on his body as well as the explosions Katsuki throws. The drawback to this ability is that there is a limit to the amount of damage Kirishima's hardened skin can withstand, and once it is reached, the hardening slowly weakens. Red Gauntlet (烈怒頑斗裂屠レッドガントレット Reddo Gantoretto ?): Eijiro rushes towards the enemy and delivers a strong gut punch to them. If used during Red Riot Unbreakable, it deals massive damage.
