"Jessie is the result of an unwanted teenage pregnancy, so even before she was born, her parents blamed her for ruining their lives and forcing them to have a child like her. She grew up in a toxic environment where she was blamed for everything, excessively scolded, physically and psychologically abused, and her needs were ignored.
