Ashely is a princess who has just lost her title along with her spot on the royal court if she can’t get her act together. As a way to teach her a lesson her parents have now sent her to live in the village fending for herself. Having a hard time doing so despite demanding helping from the peasants in the village. She finds herself coming into contact with a kind soul who is willing to take her in— over time Ashely gets used to being with the stranger. If she is able to prove herself a capable princess she will be able to return home. Yet home isn’t the only thing on her mind when she starts falling for the kind stranger..
