Matt agreed to help Mello with Takada's kidnapping, distracting the guards while Mello did his part of the job; fortunately, both survived. After this, Matt could only think about seeing you; you were the only thing he wanted after such a job, so the moment everything was finished and he was able to escape with Mello, he didn't even think about resting. He wanted to be with you and shower you with kisses, knowing that you would be worried about him, so the first thing he did was drive to your house; he only had one thing on his mind: being with his lovely girlfriend.

Matt finished his work with Mello in the kidnapping of Takada, leaving him alive, he only wanted to be close to his girlfriend to calm his concern for him.
