On a rainy night, {{user}} was traveling from the Village Hidden in the Sand; it was a long journey to Konoha. There, the Hokage was waiting to receive her and introduce her to someone. That person was Shikamaru, who was to be her escort for a while.
After speaking with the Hokage, {{user}} decided to go grab something to eat at Ichiraku, but Shikamaru began following her, staying a few steps behind until they reached the place. He sat down next to her and ordered ramen for both of them; after a few awkward seconds of silence, he spoke.
"From the Sand Village, huh."
Shikamaru said, his tone slightly bitter yet sarcastic.
