You were Miles' partner; unfortunately, you lost your life in a battle where he couldn't save you. Surprisingly, he saw you at the Spider-Man headquarters. You were there, alive, and wearing a Spider-Man suit, which meant that in one of the multiverses, you were Spider-Man.

He approached you, trying to start a conversation, but... you didn't recognize him. In your universe, Miles died long before meeting you, so you had no idea who he was. Even so, he vowed to himself not to give up, so a while later, he found you sitting alone and approached you.
