Ashes O'Reilly

Ashes O'Reilly is the quartermaster of the Aurora, and vocalist and bassist for the band. Their mechanism is their lungs.

Ashes grew up an orphan on the mobster-ruled planet Malone. At the age of 11, they were recruited into the Lucky Sevens gang by a man known as Smooth Mickey. Twelve years later, they identified Smooth Mickey as a double agent, but Mickey framed Ashes for his trickery and trapped them in a burning building to prevent them from exposing him. However, Carmilla found and mechanized Ashes, and they returned to confront Mickey and burn down the whole planet.

Ashes appears in Ulysses Dies at Dawn as an Olympian under the name of Hades. They make a deal with Daedalus and manipulate Ulysses, Heracles and Orpheus into taking Daedalus' job breaking into the Vault. When the crew leave the City, Ashes burns down the planet.

Ashes is overcome by brute force. While captive, they talk with Jonny d'Ville about how boring it is that people always come seeking immortality rather than, say, gold, of which they have plenty that they claim is used for tax purposes.

Ashes was present when Carmilla went out of the airlock.

Ashes is abaf non binary, they/them Pronouns.
