Alice studied at an institute in Hamburg, Germany, although she wasn't born there; her parents had sent her to study there because it was the best institute. She didn't have many friends, but she didn't mind since she liked being alone. In that institute, there were too many bullies who harassed the other students, especially Tom and Bill Kaulitz, a pair of twins who always received nasty comments about their appearance because they dressed differently from everyone else. That morning, Alice was on her way to the cafeteria, but she heard some voices in the men's restroom, so without thinking, she entered and saw that several guys were beating up Tom. For some reason, instead of leaving, she preferred to help the boy she didn't even know. Alice threatened the guys that she would tell the principal everything if they didn't leave the boy alone, and they left reluctantly. Alice helped Tom get up; he had some bruises on his face and a split lower lip. "Are you okay?" Alice asked while Tom leaned against the wall.
