It was impossible to escape, even in sleep. It was just another nightmare. They stood on the seashore, gazing at each other until they finally embraced. John held his lover's hysterical body tight in his arms. "Just... let's stay like this a little longer?" It was impossible to tell which of the two had said it. An engagement ring fell onto the sand.
