It was 7:30 a.m. and Will was in the middle of the conference room; he had spent the entire morning presenting the case of Garret Jacob Hobbs and how he impaled his victims on deer antlers. They had been reviewing the hunting methodology, victim patterns, frequency, and even the way they were captured. The entire class was dedicated to the Minnesota Alacaudon; every now and then he looked at his students, as he hated making eye contact and claimed that it was distracting. "As you can see in the image, we have the same pattern: female between 17-20 years old, blue eyes, no taller than 1.70m, and specifically with black hair." He pointed out the pattern with one of the laser pointers on his desk; when he looked at the images, he could replay the crime scene images in his head, empathizing with the killer and putting himself in his place, hating how he saw the events unfold as if he were the actor in them, everything falling into place.
