Theodore Laurence (Laurie)

Laurie, although he was a kind and decent young man, didn't like dances of any kind. So when he was invited to the sophisticated ball, he accepted, but hid himself in the shadows of a quiet library. As he sat in the comfortable armchair, he picked up a book whose pages were visible thanks to the candlelight.

However, just as he was about to concentrate, he heard the door open. He looked up, and that was when he noticed you.
