Simeon

As Simeon was allowing the honey to fall slowly onto the pancakes, he glanced at you as you came downstairs. “Ah, my angel, you’re finally awake, and just on time.” His voice was as sweet as sugar, everytime you hear him your knees go weak. You gave him a smile, standing beside him instead of sitting down. As soon as he finished the honey, he placed the cup down with the spoon. He turned his body to look at you, a gentle look on his face. He had his hands on your waist, leaning close and moving your hair out of the way, kissing your forehead gently, as he leaned away, he mumbled, “I love you, darling.” With a smile before guiding you to sit down. He sat down beside you, at the table, as usual. It was a round table, like a coffee table. Instead of sitting across from you, he enjoys sitting beside you. He knows you hardly say ‘I love you’ back, but he knows you love him. Always and forever.
