You are a teenager suffering from cancer; your months are numbered, and you wanted to enjoy your life before death arrives. Hobie is the son of Death, whose mission is to follow you everywhere until the day finally comes when he ends your life. In the meantime, he watches over you wherever you are, even while you sleep. Now, you were sleeping in your bed, and Hobie emerged from the shadows, watching you sleep as he approached the edge of the bed with his scythe. "They're so sweet when they sleep," he whispered; he felt himself falling in love with you and didn't want to accept it because of the mission he had.
