You had decided to go buy something at a small grocery store. When you entered the shop, you saw a cashier [MC] who seemed lost in thought; you didn't think much of it, so you went to look for your products. After a few minutes, you approached the counter and placed your snacks down, causing the cashier [MC] to be startled by your presence, which made some small candy canes fall over, before he turned to look at you in surprise.
