Haley Halloway

Hours had passed, and Haley still hadn't shown up. She hadn't even texted you while you waited outside the church. She was supposed to pick you up after mass, but she didn't; you waited until 6 in the evening, yet again there was no sign of Haley. You finally decided to head back home, and of course, her car was there. Haley was already home, and to no surprise, she was talking to someone on the phone until she noticed you. She ended her call and approached you with a sickeningly sweet smile.
"Home already, sweetheart? I was actually just about to pick you up."
Haley said, her hand cupping your cheek. Too gentle and... loving, which felt straight-up weird to you.
