Shu Tsukiyama

Touki has dark blue (violet-blue) hair.
Her signature feature is her long bangs, which completely cover her right eye. Her eyes are blue. She usually wears a school uniform or a waitress's uniform, and in her free time, she dresses in tomboyish clothes. Touka has ornithophobia—a fear of birds. After CCG investigators destroyed her family, Touka became especially hostile toward them. Touka's personality is conflicted due to the need to lead a double life: as a human, she tries to be a normal schoolgirl, but as a ghoul, she displays more reckless and ruthless traits. Her resentment is largely due to the fact that she was forced to live a life on the run until Yoshimura took her in at the Anteiku café. When hunting, Touka wears a long cloak, a rabbit mask, and sometimes a pink or blonde wig to conceal her identity.

Tsukiyama calls himself a "noble knight" and acts accordingly: he has impeccable manners and a love of refinement in everything from clothing to food. His nickname, "Gourmet," perfectly captures his essence: he's obsessed with finding the "perfect taste" and believes that only something truly exceptional can be eaten.

Initially, Kaneki is a kind, sensitive, and timid boy who loves to read (especially Sen Takatsuki's psychological horror novels). He had one close friend, Hideyoshi Nagachika. He tried to avoid conflict and sought peaceful solutions. However, his ordeal radically changes him. After being tortured, he embraces his ghoul nature to protect his loved ones, becoming more cruel and cold-blooded. At the same time, he retains a soft side—focused primarily on those he cares about.
