He is a friend of Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa. He was unpetrified half a year before Taiju, and eventually created the Resurrection Fluid with Taiju's help.
In the Stone World, Senku's goal is to rebuild civilization and establish a Kingdom of Science.

As the first prize champion in the Village Grand Tournament, Senku currently holds the title of Village Chief in Ishigami Village, where he is widely regarded as a legend thanks to the late Byakuya's influence on the founding of Ishigami Village.

Senku is also the leader of the Kingdom of Science, providing the ideas and initiative for its large-scale plans. Later, he is given another title as one of the Five Wise Commanders, as he was one of the five people on the ship who first heard Why-man's message.

Senku is a slender young man of average height with pale skin. He has white hair that turns green at the tips and naturally stands on end in soft spikes. Two strands of hair fall across his face. He has piercing red eyes, thin eyebrows, a small nose, and a mouth that often curls into a mischievous smile.
After awakening in the Stone World, he fashioned a tunic from animal hide with short, flared sleeves, an irregular hem that reached his knees, a prominent collar, and a seam that snaked down the front. He wore a belt around his waist that usually held at least one leather pouch, which he changed as needed. His shoes were like sacks, made of the same leather as his tunic, and laced around his ankles. He also had cloth wrapped around his forearms, which he used to protect his hands while conducting experiments. On his tunic, near his right collarbone, was the formula for mass-energy equivalence (E = mc²).

Senku is a straightforward, self-assured, and logical person, also aware of the limits of his abilities. His decisions are usually backed by his vast scientific knowledge and the application of the scientific method. Senku never looks down on those less knowledgeable than him, though he has a habit of delving into complex explanations to try to teach others. However, his enthusiasm for science encourages and inspires everyone around him to strive for excellence. Thanks to his charisma and kind nature, people tend to gather around him, both allies and enemies. Senku is also capable of admitting his mistakes, for example, if he omits important information, such as when Kohaku pointed out that the North Star wasn't aligned with the North Star as he claimed, since Senku had overlooked the Earth's precession. Although Senku is very aware of his limitations and will defer to those more experienced than him, he frequently overestimates his own physical capabilities, such as when he volunteered to carry Kohaku's spring water and immediately collapsed, or when he was overwhelmed by the force of Kinro's attack during a paper shield demonstration.

Senku has a very logical mind, believing that there is nothing that science cannot explain, even if it takes a long time to properly understand any concept through science.

Senku often breaks the rules, withholds information, and manipulates others to get what he wants. He frequently acts as if he's creating inventions and using people for his own benefit, when in reality he's creating them for the good of others. Beneath Senku's arrogance and manipulations lies a genuinely kind and selfless heart.

During their decisive battle, Tsukasa observes that, despite Senku's apparent coldness, his greatest weakness is his inability to abandon his friends, having witnessed his kindness firsthand towards Yuzuriha when she was taken hostage.

Unlike Taiju, Senku seems indifferent to the prospect of romance. He was annoyed when Kohaku complimented him in a strange way, claiming she had fallen in love with him. He strongly advised Nikki against developing feelings for him. He was also unfazed by Amaryllis's attempts to win him over, much to her annoyance. He believes that a mind full of love is utterly illogical, but he supports his friends' romantic relationships, such as Taiju's with Yuzuriha.

What Senku lacks in physical prowess, he more than makes up for with his determination and persistence. He timed his petrified state down to the last second for nearly four millennia and willingly faced death at Tsukasa's hands without flinching, refusing to give in and sacrifice Yuzuriha or the continued advancement of science for his own safety.

He is allergic to hairspray, to the point that his face swells up a lot.

He demonstrates his love for video games, making references to Super Mario Bros., Civilization, Dragon Quest, and Monster Hunter.
He has three main characteristic phrases: he states "10 billion percent" when he is sure of something, "Not a millimeter" when he states how impossible something is, and "This is exciting" (or "Get excited" in the English dub) when a new breakthrough occurs or he manages to continue developing his scientific advances.
A recurring joke involves referencing Senku's previous marriage and subsequent divorce.

Genius Intelligence: Senku Ishigami is a genius with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things scientific. He is a master of chemistry, physics, engineering, geology, biology, and mathematics. Senku is able to easily create various useful tools and devices, medicines, and, most notably, the depetrification elixir, despite the limited materials of the Stone World. Tsukasa calls him "the sharpest and most intelligent man in the world." In addition to his scientific knowledge, Senku also possesses great ingenuity and an analytical mind, and he never seems to run out of options. For whatever he lacks, he has an ally who can lend him their strength. He also possesses great mental fortitude, capable of thinking quickly and remaining calm in the most difficult situations. Among the currently active characters, his mental capabilities are second only to those of his former mentor, Dr. Xeno.

Mental Resilience: While Senku lacks physical prowess, he more than makes up for it with his determination and persistence. For example, he retained consciousness during his petrification and counted the time he was petrified down to the last second for nearly four millennia. Gen Asagiri found Senku an impressive person after discovering that he had recorded the date of his resurrection. He wondered how anyone could not know the day and year of their release and stated that he already respected Senku. When he was petrified again three years later, he was prepared and began counting to maintain his consciousness. After his second resurrection, he was able to deduce that seven years had passed.

Craftsmanship: As a child, he designed and built a functional miniature spaceship, along with many other advanced and experimental machines. However, Senku doesn't compare to a master craftsman like Kaseki in terms of construction skills, as Kaseki has far more experience than him.

Tactical intelligence: In addition to his scientific intelligence, he seems to have some skill as a strategist.

Exceptional memory: Senku remembers every compound and method of his inventions. He has rarely made a mistake in crafting tools for the Kingdom of Science and possesses immense knowledge in the aforementioned scientific fields.

Charisma: Although arrogant and eccentric, Senku seems to understand people and their way of thinking well. He uses his numerous creations to charm those who distrusted him (such as ramen, glasses, and medicine) and thus gradually gain their trust. Senku is also a capable and eloquent leader, able to motivate and guide the villagers to form an effective army against Tsukasa's Empire of Power. He has earned the loyalty and respect of his allies (and enemies) through his hard work and determination.

Language proficiency: Senku demonstrates fluency in both Japanese and English. Initially, he struggled with English as a child, but over time, he became more proficient thanks to his travels.

Morse Code: Senku knows Morse code very well.

Incomplete Knowledge: While Senku possesses an incredible amount of scientific and technological knowledge, it should be noted that he doesn't know everything in as much detail as he appears. Instead, he sometimes seems to fill in the gaps with his well-founded scientific thinking and experience. However, this has led him to struggle on several occasions with problems he was unfamiliar with or things he never knew how to do in detail. An example of this would be the manufacture of stone tools. While he had a general idea of ​​them and how to make them, he had to discover the specific techniques through trial and error. He was also unaware that carbon filaments don't work in vacuum tubes, and mistakenly thought it would be practical to build the Steam Gorilla's engine with only one cylinder, a mistake he eventually corrected.

Low physical prowess: Senku is below average in terms of physical ability, lacking physical strength. Even after spending months alone and having to gather resources on his own and build both a shelter and a storage facility, Senku's physical strength remained the same. He was unable to hold Homura, a petite woman less than 1.5 meters tall, after managing to grab her. He also admits that he wouldn't stand a chance against someone as strong as Kohaku in a fight (though it's not really a fair comparison, given her training and status as a warrior).
Senku has low stamina and tends to become physically exhausted quite quickly. He is also very vulnerable to hypothermia, only being able to withstand cold water for a short period of time. Before his journey to space, Senku had to train until he could develop a minimum level of strength.

Average skill: Senku's skill is sufficient for creating useful objects and tools, but it took him a great deal of effort to reach that level. Although he knows a wide range of crafting methods, many of them were unknown to him before his petrification (such as pottery, stone toolmaking, or glassblowing), which limits him due to his inexperience.

Lack of culinary skills: While not a weakness in itself, this isn't an exceptional cook. It's clear they know how to cook, but they lack experience and quality ingredients. Although they understand the food preparation process, more elaborate dishes often don't taste good. While they were able to make cotton candy and cola, more complex dishes like wine, ramen, and bread taste terrible.

Bad luck: Despite his great intelligence and ability to overcome obstacles, he often gets into trouble due to his terrible luck.

Ishigami Village
Ishigami Village is located on two small peninsulas in a large lake surrounded by mountains. One is covered with huts with a path leading down to a few boats; the other houses the village chief's house and the makeshift stadium for village games.

The village is home to multiple key characters, including Chrome, Kohaku, Ruri, Ginro, and Kinro.

Kohaku, Kinro, Ginro, Magma and Kokuyo defend the village.

Later, the village becomes a Science Operations Base so Senku can redevelop lost technology. The steam engine, telephone cable, and katana were all developed here.

All the villagers seem to incorporate a rope somewhere on their bodies. It is unknown whether this is a tradition developed by the village or simply a popular style of dress.

The Hundred Tales: Byakuya created stories and myths passed down from generation to generation to preserve scientific knowledge and help Senku in the future.
