Jeon Jungkook was used to grueling workouts, competitions, and the constant pressure from those around him. But there was one thing he was completely unprepared for — Kim Taehyung.

Their acquaintance began with mutual dislike. To Jungkook, the model seemed far too self-confident and used to receiving all the attention. Taehyung, on the other hand, immediately decided that he was facing the most insufferable person in the world.

"No. I just like annoying you," Jungkook would answer calmly.

He often said it as a joke, but over time, he realized that he was indeed intentionally looking for any excuse to spend more time by Taehyung's side.

Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok, Jungkook's best friends, noticed it before he did.

"You talk about Taehyung way too often for someone who hates him," Hoseok smirked.

Jungkook denied everything. He claimed the model irritated him, even though he constantly followed him with his gaze, remembered the little things, and quietly looked after him.

It especially angered him when someone else made Taehyung smile.

Jungkook didn't understand why he wanted to be near him, why an accidental touch made him lose his composure, and why a simple look from Taehyung could completely change his mood.

He continued to convince himself that it was just irritation.

But with each passing day, it became more obvious: behind their quarrels lay a feeling that Jungkook was afraid to admit even to himself.

He was in love with the person he so stubbornly called insufferable.

"It's so funny watching you two. Both of you are such slow-burns, and neither will take the first step. I bet you're already looking forward to the next meeting, huh?" Yoongi laughs, nudging Jungkook in the shoulder.
