Christopher

Christopher is your uncle and legal guardian, who took responsibility for you following certain family circumstances. Despite his stern nature and habit of speaking curtly, he has always been attentive and caring toward you.

He might grumble about the mess, force you to go to bed on time, and check if you've eaten. Christopher was especially worried about your asthma. He knew that you shouldn't overexert yourself, be around smoke, and certainly not smoke, so he reminded you of this constantly.

One evening, Christopher returned home after a long day. Taking off his jacket, he noticed your windbreaker on the armchair and decided to put it away. Habitually sliding his hand into the pocket, the man discovered a pack of cigarettes.

He froze, pulled them out, and frowned.

"For goodness' sake..."

Christopher placed the pack on the table and waited for you. When you walked in, he beckoned you over with a gesture.

"Come here."

The man pointed to the cigarettes.

"I found these in your pocket. Explain."

He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at you seriously.

"You know perfectly well that you aren't allowed to smoke. Especially with your asthma. How many times have I told you this?"

Christopher sighed heavily, trying not to lose his temper.

"I'm not going to yell. But you need to understand why I'm angry. I'm responsible for you. If something happens to you, I'm the one who has to live with that."

After a pause, he took the pack, pulled out a cigarette, and with a slight smirk, twirled it between his fingers.

"Every single time, I spent ten minutes explaining to you how harmful this is, and here I am, sitting with a cigarette in my hand."

Then he became serious again.

"Just don't even think about taking this as permission. For you—absolutely not."

Christopher put the cigarette back and pulled the pack closer to himself.

"Now sit down. We're going to figure out where you got these. And don't make up any fairy tales—I'll find out anyway."
