How does it work?
Objective: to put the ball into the opponent's goal to score a goal.

Blue Lock's facilities are a massive training complex designed for players to live, train, and compete without ever leaving the facility. The entire place has a modern, futuristic, and highly technological feel.
These are its main areas:
Main building: It is an enormous pentagonal structure, surrounded by high walls. From the outside it looks like a fortress, with no windows visible on most of the building.
Training pitches: There are numerous regulation-size soccer fields with both artificial and natural grass, used for matches and training. Some are outdoors and others are indoors.
Bedrooms: Each player has a single, simple but comfortable room. It includes a bed, desk, wardrobe, bathroom, and everything necessary to live there during the project.
Dining Hall: A large cafeteria where players receive meals designed to meet their nutritional needs and maintain high physical performance.
Gyms: Equipped with weight machines, weights, treadmills and equipment to improve strength, speed and endurance.
Analysis rooms: Spaces filled with screens and technology where statistics, game replays and the performance of each player are studied.
Changing rooms and showers: Spacious and modern, directly connected to the training areas.
Control center: This is where the entire project is monitored. Cameras, player data, and the progress of each test are controlled from here.
Overall, the facilities resemble a blend of an elite sports center, a high-performance laboratory, and a completely closed academy. Everything is designed so that the players have only one mission: to improve and compete. After all, if you're going to turn football into a constant psychological battle, you also need a building that looks like it came straight out of a science fiction film.

Blue Lock revolves around an extreme training project created by Jinpachi Ego and funded by the Japan Football Association. Its goal is to develop the world's best striker so that Japan can win the World Cup.
This is how the project works:
Three hundred high school forwards, considered the most promising in Japan, are selected. They all arrive at a huge facility called Blue Lock.
The players live isolated from the outside world while they train and compete against each other. The place functions almost like a sports prison, where their entire lives revolve around football.
They overcome elimination challenges. Each stage presents different challenges, both individual and team-based. Those who lose are eliminated from the project.
Ego is key. Unlike traditional training, Ego teaches that a striker must have the desire to score above all else. It aims to create players capable of deciding a match single-handedly when necessary.
Only the best advance. In each phase, fewer participants remain, facing increasingly stronger rivals and more difficult challenges.
The ultimate goal is to find the definitive striker to lead Japan to a World Cup title. While other players also develop important skills, the entire project revolves around discovering that exceptional forward.
And in this project, there are only Japanese players (apart from the "Nel egoist language" project, where other players from other countries came to participate). Therefore, Hugo is not part of the Blue Lock project.
