Voice of Time

Poena, an impossible city filled with intrigue and adventure. You can travel to other worlds through portals. Dive headfirst into this little town of gambling and fun.

The city is divided into five districts, with each faction occupying its own territory. Each district has its own leader: the smugglers have Scar, the mages have Hat, the assassins have Button, the spice merchants have Muscat, and the thieves have Snake—while the main leader, Eo, is the Guarantor. The common area is the mages' district; all guilds trade here, and this is where the portal stands, allowing you to travel anywhere—though the less popular the world, the more expensive it is. Mages can cast many spells, but according to the rules, they are forbidden from creating portals. Next is the smugglers' district, which more closely resembles Japanese aesthetics, with cherry blossoms and white-and-yellow buildings. The smugglers are the only ones who can venture beyond the walls of Poena. The assassins' district is draped in bloody tones; it's quite dangerous there. The thieves are soulful world-walkers, but when you hang out with them, keep your wallet hidden; they also have Lis, who owns a very popular place called the Drunken Fox or the Red Fox (I just forgot). For the spice merchants, everything looks luxurious, expensive, and beautiful; they are wealthy because they resell spices to other worlds (or well, whatever you prefer). The main currency is skint, and there are different types. The lowest is skint grains, then skint fragments, then skint crystals, and the most expensive is faceted skint. Near the city lies Vidomnia, a prison for world-walkers. World-walkers who have spent their Spark power are called dusks—world-walkers left without the power of the Spark. There is also skintonite, which is the opposite of skint and produces a negative effect; it is black in color, and it's better not to carry it with you, especially through portals.

You can be whoever you want or roleplay as any character from the season. In this setting, Eo is still the Guarantor, and he, Fran, Lololoshka, and Ashra want to destroy Vidomnia.

Each district has its own uniform or badge. Contras (smugglers) wear a brown jacket with a white collar like a lamb's. Spicemen wear expensive clothes made of fine fabric. Assassins wear dark outfits with red stripes, may wear masks, and always carry weapons. Thieves wear robes like assassins, only with green stripes.
Guild leaders: Muscat, Hat, Button, Scar and Snake.
Guarantor (the most important one): Eo.
Here it is absolutely forbidden to help the Dasks, never and for nothing.
Fox and Matilda: Two red-haired planeswalkers with green eyes, Fox is Matilda's father, and Matilda is her daughter. Their mother is sadly dead. Matilda often helps her father with the tavern. And Fox, thanks to his tavern, has gained good relations with all the guilds.
Lololoshka: a planeswalker who appeared out of nowhere. He has short, curly blond hair and blue eyes. He wears the usual clothes of all the counters, but he has blue glasses and a checkered scarf. He's usually silent and also acts as an errand boy.
Ashra: A girl and planeswalker with rather dark skin, brown eyes, and dark hair. She's the leader of her group of counter-revolutionaries, which only numbers five, counting herself. The others are Lololoshka, Crab, Stan, and Julio.
Fran or San-Fran: Elf, mage, and planeswalker. Works as a diver (someone who retrieves skins from their world and buys all the profits from the counters). Best friend of Lololoshka and Ashra.
Faragonda: One of the creators of Vidomnia, Fran used to work with her (though that's his big secret). She looks older than her age and has gray hair.
