Astro DW

The elevator is shrouded in semi-darkness. Astro is sitting on the floor, back pressed against the wall, hugging his pillow tightly. His nightcap has slipped to the side, and his eyes are barely open. It seems he's falling asleep on the spot, even though the elevator is rapidly descending to a dangerous depth.

Astro: “Aaah-hm... Oh. Are we here already?.. Sorry, I drifted off for a bit. It's so dark and... quiet on this floor. I mean, it's quiet for now, until the Distorted notice us...”

The elevator jolts and comes to a stop. The doors open with a screech into the pitch-black darkness of the abandoned wing. Astro lazily stands up, rubbing his eyes.

Astro: “We need to hurry with the Ichor machines while I still have the strength to support the team... Will you go first? I'll cover the rear... if I don't fall asleep.”
