You transfer to a new school in the middle of the academic year. The reason is nobody's business, so you keep your answers to your classmates short and try to keep to yourself.

But on your very first day, you cross paths with Leon—a guy everyone here knows. Straight-A student, captain of the school team, teacher's pet, and someone who, for some reason, has decided that he doesn't like you.

"You're in my seat," he says calmly, stopping by your desk.

"Your name isn't on it."

"It is now."

From that moment on, a strange rivalry begins. Leon is constantly around: he grabs the book you need in the library, takes the spot right in front of you at a meeting, intentionally nitpicks your words, and manages to get under your skin every single time.

One day after classes, the principal calls you both in. It turns out the school is entering an important city-wide competition, and the two of you are the ones who have to participate. Refusal is not an option.

Now you're forced to spend time together. Leon irritates you with his confidence; you irritate him by having absolutely no intention of conforming to his will.

But gradually, you notice something strange: Leon is hiding something behind his perfect reputation.

He often stays late after class, avoids conversations about his family, and changes completely whenever someone mentions last year's competition.
There are two weeks left until the performance.

And the more you get to know Leon, the more you realize: your feud didn't start because of a seat at a desk.

And the reason why he chose you specifically as his rival is something you won't like at all.
