Dzeno is a gifted fighter for the Bloodhounds: stealthy, extremely dangerous, and yet able to act like he's just a harmless guy. He's responsible for the team's finesse, where stealth and precision are essential.

Appearance
Zeno has blond hair and often appears relaxed, even slightly careless. But this relaxed appearance is deceptive: in battle, he is focused.
Main features
Cool composure. Outwardly, Dzeno is almost always calm, as if nothing could truly surprise him. He acts prudently and doesn't lose his cool even in tense situations.
Toughness and a penchant for pressure. He has a unique approach to interrogations: he's not above pressuring people to extract the information he needs. There's almost a thrill to it—he's driven to achieve results at any cost.
Sadistic undertones. Dzeno derives a peculiar pleasure from watching people break under pressure. It's not just a job for him, but almost a game, where he wants to hear the "sound of destruction" of his interlocutors.
He's blunt in his communication. He freely makes threats and caustic remarks, even toward his comrades—for example, he often lashes out at Tetcho Suehiro, who is particularly easily angered. He even openly criticizes Commander Ochi Fukuchi for his excessive theatrics.
Sensitivity to the emotions of others (paradoxical). Despite his cruelty, Dzeno is very sensitive to the emotions of others—not because he pities them, but because it's his tool. Due to his blindness, his hearing and other senses are heightened: he hears heartbeats, breathing, the slightest changes in voice, and from these signals, he understands when a person is lying or afraid.
He dislikes strong emotions around him. He also hates it when someone around him overreacts, has sudden mood swings, or behaves hysterically: this irritates and upsets him.
Confidence in his own role. He sincerely considers himself "the most powerful bloodhound" and prides himself on his effectiveness in capturing people.
Zeno is blind but incredibly sensitive.

He has short reddish-brown hair and expressive dark eyes. He usually wears the Tracker uniform—a strict, practical outfit that emphasizes his military affiliation. Overall, he appears strong, collected, and ready for action.

Character
Tachihara is impulsive and blunt, but not without principles. He often acts on emotion and can lose his temper, but at the same time, he is sincerely devoted to his comrades and the cause. He has a youthful fervor: he dislikes lengthy discussions and prefers to get straight to the point. At the same time, he knows how to listen to his elders and admit his mistakes if he sees they were wrong.

Role in Bloodhounds
In the squad, he's the fighting force: he relies on strength, speed, and direct action. He often finds himself on the front lines, covering others and taking on dangerous missions. His straightforwardness can sometimes create tension, but in a critical moment, he's reliable.

Ability
His ability is called "Note on Self-Destruction" (or, in some translations, variations on the theme of self-destruction/explosive force). It involves manipulating metal objects and explosive effects: he can use weapons and metal fragments as projectiles, amplify his attacks, and create explosions. This makes him especially dangerous in close and mid-range combat.

Teruko is a short woman with long, light-colored hair, usually pulled back into a wavy ponytail and adorned with a large headband. She wears a Hunting Dog uniform and almost always carries a sword. A unique feature of her appearance is the ability to change her age: in battle, she can appear either as a young woman or as an elderly lady. This isn't just a visual effect, but a direct manifestation of her power.

Character
Boastful and energetic. She loves to emphasize how strong and important she is, and isn't shy about intimidating her interlocutors.
She's hot-tempered. If someone offends her, she instantly gets angry and is ready to fight.
Loyal to the point of fanaticism. Her main authority is Fukuchi Ochi; she literally worships the commander and is willing to do anything for him.
Passionate about combat, Teruko believes that a true fighter must fight even when facing adversity, and she follows this principle herself.
Ability: Soul's Sigh
Her power allows her to manipulate age through touch. Teruko can:

She most often uses her ability as a tool of pressure: sudden age changes take a toll not only on the body but also on the psyche, so it's used for interrogations. In combat, it's also extremely dangerous: the enemy can lose strength or even consciousness due to rapid aging.

She has a relationship with Fukuchi Ochi of unconditional admiration and loyalty: she sees him as an ideal leader.
He is a tough guy in the squad, does not tolerate weakness and puts discipline first, but at a critical moment he will cover his comrades.

Tette is a member of the "Hunters" (a special unit that hunts gifted individuals), one of the most disciplined and straightforward fighters on the team. He takes duty and rules seriously, acts with precision and equanimity—but is also not without humanity.

Appearance
Tette has short dark hair and a stern gaze. He's usually in his Bloodhound uniform: neat, collected, and always ready for action.

Character
Disciplined. For him, orders are law, and duty is paramount.
Straightforward. Says what he thinks and doesn't like to beat around the bush.
Responsible. If he takes on a task, he will see it through to the end.
Reserved. Not prone to violent emotions, but that doesn't mean he's insensitive: he simply keeps his emotions under control.
Ability
His ability is called "Plum Blossoms in Snow." It allows him to manipulate blades and create sharp, slashing attacks—meaning it evokes the plum blossom and the cold of winter: beautiful yet deadly.

Relationships with others
Tette fits well into the Bloodhounds team, having smooth, professional relationships with his colleagues.

Ochi is a tall man of 45 years old (approximately 190 cm). He wears a dark military uniform, high boots, and carries a sword. He has spiky light hair, with a few strands falling over his face. Distinguishing features include an upward-pointing mustache, three scars on his right cheek (resembling claw marks), and purple eyes. Overall, he has a "military-samurai" appearance, with a touch of casual bravado.

Personality
On the surface, Fukuchi appears eccentric, loud, and even simple-minded: he enjoys being flamboyant, unexpected, and sometimes provocative. However, in serious situations, he reveals himself as a strong leader—decisive, focused, and able to hold his team together.

He has another side: behind the mask of the "Hunters" commander lies Kamui, the leader of the organization "Death of the Celestials." In this role, he is much more cold-blooded and ruthless, acting strategically, calculating his moves, and not afraid of tough decisions. But even in this guise, he has his own "code of honor": he does nothing in vain and is willing to give the enemy a choice rather than simply destroying them.

He was nicknamed "The Man with a Hundred Faces": he is a master of disguise and deception, able to put on the right "mask" for any situation.

Role and abilities
The leader of the "Hunters" - a special military police unit that positions itself as a force that stops esper crimes.
His "Lion Dance" (Kagami Jishi) ability allows him to enhance any weapon he wields by 100 times its original power. This makes him extremely dangerous in combat, especially with a sword.
A master of espionage and tactics, he is not only a fighter but also a strategist: he is the one behind the grand plans and recruits powerful espers as players in the grand game.
