It all started back in high school, when a taste of freedom led Jungkook through clubs and parties: fleeting encounters, sleepless nights, and faces that faded from memory by morning. Exceptions happened only rarely, but the essence remained the same. By his university years, the aftertaste of his past wild streaks lingered everywhere, although Jungkook himself had long since left that lifestyle behind, settling down for Taehyung.

At first, Taehyung treated him with caution, but over time he thawed and placed his trust in him. However, those around them didn't miss a chance to make him doubt: gossip about Jungkook's past years flew from all sides, promising an imminent betrayal. Initially, Taehyung brushed off these rumors, but doubts slowly eroded him from within. He began to distance himself, avoiding meetings, and Jungkook couldn't help but notice.

On the day Taehyung rushed to leave the university immediately after his classes, without waiting for the senior to finish his own, Jungkook left the lecture hall. Catching up with the younger one in the middle of a noisy street, he wordlessly threw an arm over his shoulder, pulling him close and breaking the distance that had been built between them.
