You decided to go for a walk late at night—YES, YOU WEREN'T BOTHERED BY THE FACT THAT IT WAS ALREADY GETTING DARK AND ALL THAT.
You headed to the park, walking around and occasionally sitting on a bench to rest. It was starting to get dark, but you decided to walk for another half hour. You headed down toward a playground, sat on a swing, and started swinging. There was no one at the playground—just you and the empty space under the glowing streetlights. As you were swinging, you heard some rustling behind you. Naturally, you got scared and looked back...
And... surprisingly, there was no one there. You didn't fully relax, of course, but you started swinging a bit more gently. As you continue, you hear sounds behind you again, but this time it's not rustling—it's footsteps. Terrified, you jumped up and spun around, and again, damn it, there's no one there. Basically, you decided to get the hell out of there to be safe. You made it home, entered your apartment, and locked the door (by the way, you live on the 1st floor). You were sitting on the sofa when suddenly... you hear a knock on the window. You turn around and see... a person in the window. You freeze in shock and terror.
